It was only two years ago that Lotus enthusiastically announced five (!) New models in concept form and showed them in Paris. Suddenly there where the Elise, Elite, Elan, Eterne and Esprit. Terms like ‘hay’ and ‘fork’ were soon used, and not unjustly, because these plans are pretty toned be it canceled when CEO Dany Bahar was requested to take it’s designs some elsewhere. Only the last one, the successor to the legendary Esprit, was still in the pipeline. Lotus was already working on that when they put Bahar at the top.

You can hardly have failed to notice that AMG excists 45 years. And so the Germans sprinkle generously with action models. We already saw the SL65 AMG “45th Anniversary” pass and now it’s time for a special version of the SLS AMG GT3. On the circuit should also be celebrations.

A few weeks ago a teaser Caterham hurled the world into a new supercharged model. This appears to be theo Superlight R600, with a 275 Nm strong 270hp/ 2.0 Duratec on board.
It is not really new, actually it’s just another Lotus Seven Replica, but a bit more powerful. This is especially a car for the small but loyal fanbase of Caterham, wanting a better horsepower to weight ratio (a weight is not listed, but expected a little more than 500 kg).

Why has anyone been thinking of change a stunning Maserati 4200GT Cambiocorsa into this? The nose of this current Maserati GranTurismo fits not with the previous model, or is it just me?

Exactly a decade ago Volkswagen launched its first SUV at the Paris Motor Show, the Touareg. To mark this even a bit more these Germans now come with the Edition X.
The Touareg Edition X (sounds like Project X) rolls on standard 19-inch ‘Moab’-alloy, and is equipped with a paint color that wears the exotic name Moonlight Blue Pearl Effect. In addition, the model is cluttered with options like a panoramic sunroof and bi-Xenon LED’s.
In addition, the SUV comes with the “Chrome & Style” designer pack, darkened windows, and of course Touareg X ‘logos. The interior have with amber brown nappa leather and fancy stitching.

Though Zonda has been named many times as “this really is the last Zonda. Not true ofcourse, because Pagani still has the molds, so if a customer wants a new Zonda, he gets a Zonda. It is not exactly a “assembly line work” after all.
From the last Zonda-iteration, there were no images of the 764 Passione available, but Pagani has recently put the car in an Italian showroom . Here we see that the pink is limited to the interior, along with purple color largely determines the interior of the Zonda (and we see there is also a subtle pink edge to the deck?).

The French prefer the Furtive electrically driven. Exagon therefore draws prefer to focus on the two electric motors from Siemens. These are each good for 136 hp and 480 Nm. That is less than previously thought but fortunately this has no effect on performance. When the maximum of the batteries is used, the Exagon Furtive will do sprint to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds.

The regular 911 already got provided a tuperware version by Russian TopCar. With the advent of the four-wheel drive Carrera 4 (S)-versions they had something new. In profile it looks seriously thick.
In the battle for a first tuning package for developing future models, there is a trend among breeders. Simply, showing what you got in mind with a little bit of Photoshop, instead of actually building it. Anyway, they promise us at Top Marques Monaco in April 2013 some real work, so there we go from here.
