Kia is on it’s way up in Europe with a series of models that get increasingly tighter and sportier looks. The Carens disappeared from the showrooms last year, but now makes a tight comeback. The family nose is also on the new Kia Carens stuck and this looks pretty good. We knew since the sketches that the new Carens wouldn’t look as dull as the previous generation.

Yesterday we had the leaked press plates, today the pro_cee’d was officially confirmed and we were told that a GTI competitor is going to come with more than 200 hp.
The pro_cee’d is a type of car that does well with the lease rider. Very cheap, quite a tight jacket and good to drive in. Partly for this reason, the pro_cee’d does well on the Dutch market. The new version is shown later this month at the Paris Motor Show and gets officially introduced. The car is available with engines already know from the pro_cee’d: the 1.6 GDI petrol with 135 hp and the 1.6 CRDi diesel with 128 hp.
